History

We're often asked about the origins of our company name. Who is Chas?

Roy Wong, founder of Chas & Associates, got started in the investigation business in 1995 under the mentorship and guidance of a well respected member of the industry, Fred Bodnaruk. The long-time friendship between Fred and Chas Wong, (Roy's dad), began back in their days living on the Prairies and continued for many years until Chas' passing.

With the support and encouragement of Fred, in 2003 Roy decided to start his own investigation firm. In honour of Roy's dad, and in keeping with the values of professionalism and quality he instilled in both of them, Chas & Associates was named after him.
